Matt Brown is an Associate in AGMB’s Entertainment Practice Group.  Since 2020, Mr. Brown has represented producers, directors, writers, actors, filmmakers, musicians, and production companies in connection with motion picture, television, music, and new media projects. Mr. Brown’s law practice focuses on providing his clients logical, structured, and proficient solutions to make his clients’ careers and projects thrive.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Brown worked in the entertainment industry for ten years as a producer, working on films, television pilots, and in various roles for multiple music festivals including Coachella, Stagecoach, Desert Trip, Lollapalooza, and Spring Awakening. Mr. Brown attended his first year of law school at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and participated in a one-month summer legal study abroad program in Rome, Italy, culminating with a week of instruction by the late Supreme Court Associate Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. After his first year of law school, Mr. Brown transferred to Loyola Law School in Los Angeles to finish his legal studies and was a member of Loyola’s Entertainment Moot Court team.  Prior to joining AGMB, Mr. Brown operated his own boutique entertainment transactions practice, Matt Brown Media, in West Los Angeles.
