Kari L. Thompson’s practice includes entertainment transactions, business and corporate law.
Ms. Thompson represents producers, directors, writers, actors, filmmakers, and production companies in connection with motion picture, television, and new media projects. She prepares and negotiates various entertainment contracts and advises clients on all aspects of financing, development, production, distribution, and intellectual property matters, and serves as production counsel on motion pictures and television series.
In addition to her entertainment practice, Ms. Thompson handles general corporate matters, including preparing shareholder agreements as well as confidentiality, non-competition and employment agreements.
