Evan Zinaman’s practice includes entertainment transactions, business, and corporate law.
Mr. Zinaman represents a wide range of entertainment professionals, such as producers, production companies, directors, musicians, writers, and actors, in connection with television, motion picture, music, theater, and new media projects. He prepares and negotiates various entertainment contracts and advises clients on all aspects of financing, development, production, distribution and intellectual property matters, and serves as production counsel on motion pictures and television series.
Mr. Zinaman also handles complex matters for corporate clients—both in and out of the entertainment industry—including structuring and managing investment funds, preparing operating agreements, drafting deal documentation and addressing other legal issues that may arise in the conduct of his clients’ business.
Prior to joining AGMB, Mr. Zinaman began his career at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York City, handling all manner of corporate transactions, including nine- and ten-figure mergers & acquisitions, credit finance, and securities matters. Beyond his engagement on such one-off deals at all stages of their development, Mr. Zinaman’s primary focus at STB was the formation and ongoing management of investment funds for several of the world’s most sophisticated private equity sponsors. Mr. Zinaman seeks to provide his clients at AGMB with the same attention to detail and dedication to service that he honed over his years at Simpson Thacher.
